Our brick-and-mortar is in the former Massengill's Department store in Downtown Johnson City.

What are your hours?

Our regular hours are Monday-Friday from 11am-10pm and Sunday from 12pm-5pm. 

Can I bring my dog in your store?

If you trust your dog in our store, we trust your dog in our store and we ask that you monitor them accordingly 😉

Are you hiring?

Right now we have a fully staffed team, but stay tuned for future opportunities. 

How do I rent your private event space?

Our prices vary depending on the nature of your event. Please fill out this form and we will get back to you within two business days! 

Return // Refund Policy

We accept returns on a case-by-case basis within a two week period. Some vendor items are final sale! 

If you receive an item that is damaged or defective, please contact us at hello@thegeneralist.store and we will work with you to make it right.

Are you selling Pal's Merch?

YES! We are one of the few official retailer of Pal's Merchandise and the only one in Johnson City. Pal's merch is in store only and includes shirts (youth + adult sizes up to 3X), stickers, totes, and hats. Inventory moves quickly but we try to keep up with restocking as much as possible! 

What Jellycat items do you have in stock?

Jellycat is a hot commodity in our shop (and around the world)!  They are working through a long list of backorders so we get shipments at random with short notice, but always post about restocks on our Instagram Page. Make sure to follow us and keep an eye out for new drops.
