Sam Bailey Leatherworks
Sam, a Johnson City native, made his first leathercraft projects when he was a kid. With the help of his father, he made small knife sheaths, house slippers, and wallets, though these were usually simple projects done while on vacation. Sam has always had a creative mind, though he never developed a passion for a hobby or art form that let him express that creativity, until recently.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Sam collected some of his father's tools, watched many online videos, and began to learn leathercrafting. Sam appreciates leather products because they are durable and timeless. Sam enjoys making things for other people and has begun to sell items to help him offset the cost of his newfound passion. He is always on the lookout for new ideas or items to design and create.
